Rotating Mezzuzah
While the cut out Star of David forms the backgound on this mezzuzah, the real star is the prayer. You can read the portion of the prayer that shows inside the cylinder, and then you can rotate it and read more. The cylinder is tiightly closed to maintain the integrity of the claf. As you turn it, the "shaddai" (one of the Hebrew words for G-d) rotates too. This is a large mezzuzah, measuring 4" wide and 5 1/2 tall. If your doorpost will not accommodate it, it looks beautiful mounted on a black acrylic stand and can be used in this way as a presentation piece as well as an art object. Claf (scroll) is included. Mounting screws included.
Richard Bitterman artwork is virtually maintenance free. It is coated with a long-lasting lacquer which eliminates the need to polish or even clean. For most items, a sweep with a dry cloth or soft brush will suffice. Candle wax may be removed with hot water, and thoroughly dried (a hair dryer works well.) Never, ever use chemicals or put Bitterman art object in a dishwasher.
